The preview toolbar
From left to right:
| Control | What it does |

| Preview / Code | Switch between the live site and the code view. |
| Page switcher | Shows the page or template currently in the preview (for example Home (front page)). Click to switch between Pages, Posts, Products and Theme templates. See The page switcher. |
| Address bar | Shows the page the preview is on. Click to open the preview in a new tab. |
| Desktop / Tablet / Mobile | Frame the preview at 1440, 768 or 375 pixels wide. |
| Refresh | Reload the preview. |
| Edit | Open the Elementor editor for the current page in a new tab. See The Elementor editor. |
| Publish to my site | Connected WordPress sites only: start a release. See Publish to my site. |
| Remaining-pages pill | Paid sites, while the remaining pages build: Building your remaining pages (3/12). |
| Deploy | Open the go-live wizard. Shows a lock and opens the plan chooser while the site has no plan. See Going live. |
Banners under the toolbar
- Free preview banner while the site has no plan: You are on the free preview… with Upgrade to finish the site.
- Refund notice if a purchase for this site is being refunded. See Refunds.
The preview itself
The site is framed at the chosen width with a light border. While it loads you see Loading preview.... Navigating inside the preview (clicking the site's own links) updates the address bar and tells the assistant which page you are on.
Page Locked
On a site without a plan, moving off the home page shows an overlay: Page Locked. Complete payment to access this page and all remaining pages on your site. Complete Payment opens the plan chooser; Cancel returns to the home page.
