Why AI edits pause while Elementor is open

A WordPress page has one saved copy. If the assistant and Elementor both wrote to it, the later save would silently discard the earlier one. Wigoh prevents that by allowing one editor at a time.

What you see​

  • In the preview panel: The Elementor editor is open in another tab, with a Close editor and refresh preview button.
  • Above the message box: an amber notice with Close editor.
  • In the message box: Close the Elementor editor tab to edit with AI...

Releasing the lock​

Close the Elementor tab, or press Close editor in Wigoh. The preview reloads and picks up whatever you saved in Elementor.

If the lock seems stuck​

Press Close editor in Wigoh. If a stray Elementor tab is still open somewhere, close it. Then refresh the preview.
