Credits in the editor
AI edits cost money to run. Who pays depends on whether the site has a plan.
Free website
The website's free allowance pays for every AI action, the build included. What is left of it shows in the composer as $1.20 free AI credit left, with a Choose a plan button.
When it is used up, the assistant stops, says This site's free AI credit is used up. Choose a plan to keep editing., and the plan chooser opens next to the preview. A free account cannot buy credits, so a plan is the way to keep editing. See Choose a plan.
Paid website
The build is covered by the plan. Your editor turns are paid from your account's AI credits, a balance shared across all of your websites. See AI credits.
What you see
- A balance badge: a green pill with your balance, or a purple Upgrade Now button when the balance is very low.
- A low balance banner inside the composer when the balance is at or below $5.00: $4.20 credits remaining with an Add Credit button. Below $0.50 it turns red and reads Upgrade Now. Dismiss with ×.
- The message ⚠️ Insufficient credits. Please click Upgrade Now below to increase your limit. when a request cannot be paid for.
Adding credit
On a paid website, Add Credit and Upgrade Now open the Credits page with a Back to your website button that returns you here after payment. See Buying credits.
What an edit costs
Wigoh charges the model provider's cost plus a 2% platform fee, rounded to whole cents across the session. The token counter under the composer shows tokens and an approximate cost for the current session. See How AI usage is priced.
