Chat tabs

The bar at the top of the chat panel holds one tab per conversation.

Creating and switching​

  • Press + to open a new tab. New tabs are named Chat 1, Chat 2… until you send a message; the tab then takes the first few words of that message as its name.
  • Click a tab to switch. Switching is disabled while the assistant is working.
  • Hover a tab and press its × to close it. The last remaining tab cannot be closed.

Why use tabs​

Each tab is its own conversation with the assistant, so context from one task does not bleed into another. Keep "Header and footer" in one tab and "Blog page copy" in another.

Saved with the project​

Tabs and their messages are saved to your account, so they are the same on another computer. Empty tabs are not saved.
