Remaining pages
A migration builds the home page first. The remaining pages are built after you choose a plan.
Why the home page comes first
The home page carries the header, footer, colours and typography of the whole site. Getting it right first means every other page is built against a design you have already reviewed.
What happens after payment
- You choose a plan in the Ready to go live? chooser and pay. See Choose a plan.
- Wigoh starts building the remaining pages in the background. A small status pill above the preview reads Building your remaining pages with a count such as
(3/12). - When it finishes you see a notification: "Your site is ready to review. Deploy it when you are happy with it."
- If it does not finish you see "Building the remaining pages did not finish." The go-live wizard offers Try building the pages again.
How many pages are built
A paid plan builds up to 25 pages, the home page included. On a larger site the top 25 pages are chosen and the team contacts you about the rest. See Large websites.
Starting the remaining pages yourself
If the background run never started or failed, the go-live wizard's first step shows a button: Build the remaining pages or Try building the pages again. See The readiness step.
Pages that could not be built
A run that finishes with a few failed pages still counts as complete: you review the site in the editor and decide whether to go live. The readiness step reports the count, for example "12 page(s) built, 1 could not be built".
