Migrate a website, step by step

1. Enter the address

On the signed-in home page, type your website's address in the prompt box, for example https://yourbusiness.com, and press Enter. Adding a verb ("Move yourbusiness.com to WordPress") is optional.

The app checks the domain. If it is refused you see the reason next to the box.

2. Confirm the migration

The onboarding chat opens with your message already sent. The assistant replies with a one-line summary and a Website Migration card whose subtitle reads Replicate yourbusiness.com. Press Start Migration.

If the assistant classified your request as a redesign or a build by mistake, reply in the chat with what you want before pressing anything.

3. Wait for the analysis

The card shows Validating and analyzing your site... while Wigoh reads the site, then Starting migration..., then turns green with Migration started!

4. Follow the checklist

The layout splits. The chat shows three steps: Provisioning Server, Cloning Website, Quality Check. The preview panel on the right shows an animated summary until the WordPress site has content, then the live preview.

5. Review in the editor

When the checklist completes, the chat says "Website cloned successfully! Your site is ready." and the app opens the editor. Look through the home page, then ask for changes. See The editor.

6. Continue when you are ready

  • To build the remaining pages and go live: press Deploy or Upgrade to finish the site and choose a plan. See Going live.
  • To keep the preview as it is: leave. It stays in All projects.
