Migration FAQ

Do I need to give Wigoh my Wix / Squarespace / Webflow login? No. Wigoh reads what a visitor sees. Credential-based imports for Shopify and Wix stores are an upcoming feature.

Will my current site go down? No. Your current site is never changed. Your domain continues to point at it until you connect the domain to the new site during go-live.

Does the whole site get migrated at once? The home page first. The remaining pages are built after you choose a plan, up to 25 pages. Larger sites get the top 25 automatically and a conversation with the team about the rest. See Large websites.

Can I migrate a site I do not own? The assistant treats any address as a request for a visual replica. Some sites block automated screenshots, and the template picker shows a note that copying content from a site without permission may violate its terms. Only migrate sites you have the right to reproduce.

What page builder does the new site use? Elementor. You can edit with the AI assistant or open Elementor directly.

Can I export the WordPress site? Once the site is live you have SFTP access to its files from the site's settings page. See SFTP access.

How accurate is the copy? The build finishes with a Quality Check step, and you review the result in the editor before paying. There is no accuracy percentage promised; the preview is the measure.

What if the site has no sitemap? The home page still migrates. Remaining pages cannot be discovered automatically without a sitemap; add one to your current site first. See The analysis stage.

Can I stop a build? There is no stop button. Let it finish or fail, then start fresh or destroy the project from All projects.
