During the build

Images that the page uses are downloaded and added to the WordPress media library, so your new site does not depend on the old platform staying online. Logos, hero images, gallery photos and background images are all handled this way.

Quality

Wigoh copies the images at the size the original page served. If the original site served small, compressed images, the copies are the same. Replace an image with a higher-resolution version in the editor if you have one: attach it to a message or ask the assistant to swap it.

Video and embeds

Embedded videos (for example a YouTube frame) are recreated as embeds where the source is public. Media served only through the old platform's own player may need to be re-uploaded.

Replacing an image later

In the editor, click Visual edits, select the image in the preview, and describe the replacement. You can also attach a picture to the message with the + button. See Attach a screenshot or image.
