The confirmation code

When you connect, WordPress shows a six-character code and Wigoh's approval page shows one too. They must match.

The code proves to you that the approval page in your browser is for the WordPress site you started from, and not for some other site that is asking to link to your account. It is the same idea as pairing two devices.

  • Compare the code character by character.
  • If they match, press Approve.
  • If they differ, press Deny and start again from WordPress.

The code is single-use.
