Waiting for DNS
On a site's settings page, the Domains card shows each connected hostname with a state.
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Live | The records are in place and the domain serves the site. |
| Waiting for DNS | The records shown have not been seen yet. Add them at your provider and wait. |
| Failed | The connection could not be completed. Contact support. |
| Not connected | The hostname is known but not connected. |
While a domain is Waiting for DNS the page re-checks every 30 seconds.
The certificate
The Application card shows Certificate: Installed once the site's SSL certificate is in place. It covers the domain when the domain goes live.
