Registrant details

Every domain registry requires a named owner. Saved once, used for every domain you buy.

When you are asked

The first time you buy a domain. Pressing Buy opens the Registrant details dialog if Wigoh does not have your details yet. After you save, the purchase continues automatically (Save and buy yourbusiness.com).

You can also open it any time from Registrant details in the Domains page header.

Fields

First name, last name, company (optional), email, phone, address, address line 2 (optional), city, state or province, postcode, country code (two letters, for example US or GB).

The form tells you what is missing (Enter your phone) and requires a two-letter country code (Use a two letter country code).

In the go-live wizard

When you buy a domain from the wizard, the business details you gave in the Business step are used as the registrant: the business name is split into first and last name, and the address, region, postcode, country, phone and email are copied. If the business has no email, your account email is used.

Privacy

Registrant details are kept by the domain service, not on your website.
