Moving from Squarespace

How Wigoh treats a Squarespace site

Squarespace sites are read as public pages and rebuilt in WordPress. No Squarespace credentials are used. Squarespace's built-in blocks (galleries, summary blocks, forms, newsletter sign-ups) are recreated with WordPress equivalents; forms become CRM forms.

Steps

  1. Type your site's address on the home page.
  2. Confirm Website Migration (keep the look) or ask for a redesign.
  3. Review the home page in the editor, then choose a plan for the remaining pages.

What to check afterwards

  • Galleries and image grids: confirm every image is present.
  • Squarespace forms and newsletter blocks: now CRM forms. See Forms and leads.
  • Commerce pages, if any: product pages are rebuilt as regular pages from what is visible. There is no Squarespace catalogue import.

Keep Squarespace running until you switch

Your Squarespace site is never changed. Cancel and repoint your domain only after the WordPress site is live.
