Moving an existing WordPress site
You have two options for a site that already runs on WordPress.
Option 1: Migrate it like any other site
Type the address on the home page and confirm Website Migration. Wigoh reads the public site and rebuilds it with Elementor in a new WordPress installation. Choose this when the site was built with a theme you no longer want to maintain and a fresh Elementor build is fine.
Option 2: Bring your own site with Wigoh Connect
Install the Wigoh Connect plugin on your WordPress site (ideally on a staging copy). The plugin sends a snapshot of the database and files to Wigoh, which imports it into a private preview. You edit the copy with the AI editor and publish changes back to your site as a release you approve inside WordPress, with a seven-day rollback.
Choose this when you want to keep your existing WordPress site, plugins and content exactly, and use Wigoh as the editor.
See Wigoh Connect for WordPress.
